Supervisory Pharmacy Technician

<p>About the Position: This position is located at Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma Washington. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Receive and review prescriptions, using knowledge of general principles of pharmaceutical practices.</p><p>Advise patients and professional medical personnel of possible adverse reactions and drug interactions.</p><p>Inventory and reorder medications and other pharmacy supplies according to pharmacy operating requirements and procedures.</p><p>Assign responsibilities to subordinates.</p><p>Determine training needs and assure necessary training needs are filled.</p><p>Prepare requests for filling vacancies and select subordinates.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
