<p>About the Position: This position is located with the Naval Hospital Bremerton, Directorate of Medicine, Family Medicine at Bremerton, Washington A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Perform a variety of professional direct health care clinical duties within the field of General Practice and Family Medicine.</p><p>Perform medical screening examinations in an inpatient or outpatient setting for patients of all ages.</p><p>Secure health and medical history from the patient or family member.</p><p>Prescribe for and treat a variety of diseases, disorders and injuries.</p><p>Coordinate care with patients and collaborates with physicians when specialized medical management is necessary.</p><p>Write discharge orders, complete and dictate discharge summary, and provide patient treatment and follow-up for specialty patient population.</p><p>Coordinate patient and family education.</p><h3>Education</h3>Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
