<p>About the Position: This position is located at Desmond T Doss Health Clinic, located on Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Independently perform a variety of direct heath care clinical duties.</p><p>Write prescriptions, order the administration of medications, dispense medication and prescribe controlled substances in accordance with scope of practice for Physician Assistants.</p><p>Perform a variety of physical examinations such as school, employment, sports, annual, retirement, discharge, reenlistment, disability separation or retirement, and other special physicals.</p><p>Provide consultation, teaching, and coordination with patients and their family members regarding treatment and medical care.</p><p>Evaluate the total healthcare needs of patients and develop plans to meet patient needs.</p><p>Analyze and interpret routine laboratory results.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
