ABOUT THIS ROLE
<p>About the Position: This position is located at 60th Medical Group, Hematology and Oncology, within David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base, CA. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Provide specialized nursing care for patients with cancer and blood disorders across all stages of treatment.</p><p>Administer and monitor complex therapies including chemotherapy, monoclonal antibodies, targeted agents, and supportive medications.</p><p>Evaluate, plan, and coordinate patient care before, during, and after chemotherapy; collaborating with physicians and research teams.</p><p>Participate in continuing education, staff training, and interdisciplinary collaboration.</p><p>Provide guidance on monitoring, toxicity management, and safe practices to nursing staff.</p><h3>Education</h3>See Qualifications Section above.
