Supervisory Pharmacy Technician

<p>About the Position: This position is located at the 42nd Medical Group, Maxwell Air Force Base This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Receive and review prescriptions, using knowledge of general principles of pharmaceutical practices that include legal requirements, prescription restrictions, identification of controlled and non-controlled substances.</p><p>Inventory and reorder medications and other pharmacy supplies.</p><p>Plan and revise work schedules and assignments to assure an even flow and distribution of work, the expeditious handling of priorities, that schedules and deadlines are met and to meet changes in workload.</p><p>Assign responsibilities to subordinates, reviews the work and provides guidance and assistance on technical and administrative matters.</p><p>Prepare workload and production reports as necessary and other reports as required.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
