Supervisory Nurse (Clinical/Ambulatory)

<p>About the Position: This position is with Evans Army Community Hospital, Directorate of Surgery, Department of Surgery General Surgery at Fort Carson, CO. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Provide the full range of supervisory duties to include personnel and resource management comprised of coordinating staffing support, scheduling, hiring, and enforcement of performance standards.</p><p>Advise senior leadership on nursing matters; reviews, recommend changes, and assist in the development of regulations, procedures, and other matters.</p><p>Evaluate work performance and productivity; make decisions on training needs and requests by nursing and ancillary staff.</p><p>Serve as a clinic nursing subject matter expert and perform direct patient nursing care as needed.</p><p>Direct and educate staff about organizational policies and initiatives.</p><p>Explain work requirements, methods, procedures, and instruct subordinates in new procedures and provide advice and guidance when problems arise, or assignments involve new or complex technologies.</p><h3>Education</h3>"See Qualifications section for education requirements".
