Supervisory Nurse (Administration/Ambulatory)

<p>About the Position: This position is for DIR of Family Medicine at EVANS ARMY COMMUNITY HOSPITAL, Fort Carson, CO. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Oversees the scope of practice and provision of nursing services within an ambulatory clinic, which may also include multiple Patient-Centered Medical Homes within each practice or clinic.</p><p>Advises senior leadership on nursing matters; reviewing, recommending changes and assisting in the development of regulations, procedures and other matters.</p><p>Serve as a clinic nursing subject matter expert and perform direct patient nursing care as needed.</p><p>Direct and educate staff about organizational policies and initiatives.</p><p>Explain work requirements, methods, procedures, and instruct subordinates in new procedures and provide advice and guidance when problems arise, or assignments involve new or complex technologies.</p><p>Evaluate work performance and productivity; make decisions on training needs and requests by nursing and ancillary staff.</p><p>Sets deadlines and priorities in accomplishing objectives within scheduled milestones; maintains production reports and records.</p><h3>Education</h3>See Qualifications section for education requirements.
