For more information, refer to Required Documents below.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Major Duties include, but are not limited to: Women's Health/Gynecology Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing competent, evidence-based Women's Health care to assigned patients and oversight of licensed vocational nurses/nursing assistants, as appropriate to the setting. Provides leadership to the clinical team for interprofessional care of patients with complex gynecology needs and can identify primary source(s) of patient problems based on knowledge and experience with gynecology patients. Will assist in directing the provision of nursing education, orientation, competencies and providing quality improvement and outcomes utilization consultation. Demonstrates leadership in delivering and improving holistic care through collaborative strategies with others. Leads clinical support groups using evidence-based quality improvement activities related to gynecology care and measuring outcomes. Contributes professional nursing perspective in discussions with the interdisciplinary team. Provides patient-specific Women's Health education to patients and families related to routine and complex gynecology procedures. Supports colleagues through knowledge sharing to provide safe, quality Women's Health nursing care. Administers medications and procedures per established policies and guidelines. This position potentially requires flexibility in schedule and assignments. All other duties as assigned.
