ABOUT THIS ROLE
<p>The Resource Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for coordinating care with a focus on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction. The RN fosters a safe, supportive environment for professional development, evaluates practices based on evidence, provides peer feedback, contributes to interdisciplinary discussions, and shares knowledge to ensure safe, quality care. They actively participate in strategies to maintain an evidence-based practice culture.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Major Duties include but are not limited to: Responsible for leading nursing education, orientation, and quality improvement initiatives. Administers medications and procedures per established policies and guidelines. Oversees all nursing processes in direct patient care, focusing on education, self-management, and customer satisfaction. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to improve outcomes. Leads nursing education, orientation, and quality improvement. Fosters a supportive environment for professional development, evaluates and shares evidence-based practices, and participates in maintaining an evidence-based practice culture. Provides peers with informal constructive feedback for improvement. Fosters a safe and supportive environment, conducive to the professional development of healthcare professionals. Serves as an advocate for Veteran patients, families, and caregivers, improving outcomes for the immediate practice setting.
