Registered Nurse - Assistant Nurse Manager

<p>Position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Duties for this position include, but are not limited to: The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) has responsibility and accountability for the direction and supervision of specific orientation, training, development of staff, and provides input into the evaluation of individual staff performance, and complete performance evaluations for Title 5 and Hybrid T38 staff with guidance from the Nurse Manager. The ANM participates in the development of care delivery models and environmental design ensuring evidence-based, accessible, affordable, and equitable patient care. Aligns nursing/clinical objectives with organizational strategic outcomes, participating in strategy planning and execution. The ANM maintains knowledge and ensures compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, Directives, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOP).
