<p>About the Position: This position is located at the 72nd Medical Group, Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Conduct perioperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care to assist with minor surgical procedures.</p><p>Utilize systems to maintain patient medical records.</p><p>Collect vital signs and specimen samples, documenting them in the patient’s chart.</p><p>Administer medications to patients via oral, topical, intramuscular, intradermal, intravenous, and/or subcutaneous routes, monitoring for potential reactions.</p><p>Instruct patient and family members on home care and medications.</p><p>Provide first aid or resuscitation procedures during emergency situations.</p><p>Complete administrative duties such as training staff, scheduling patient appointments, and/or faxing information to off-base providers.</p><p>Monitor active-duty military members' deployment restricting medical conditions to ensure medical needs are met and addressed.</p><h3>Education</h3>See Qualifications section for education requirements.
