Practical Nurse (Outpatient)

<p>About the Position: This position is located within a Defense Health Agency (DHA) Army Medical Center Madigan and supports the provision of healthcare services in various outpatient clinical settings. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Salary negotiation MAY be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service A Recruitment or relocation incentives MAY be authorized</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Provide routine nursing care, record vitals, track labs, and report significant clinical changes.</p><p>Perform focused assessments, assist with triage, manage medications, and maintain accurate patient documentation.</p><p>Administer prescribed medications, follow correct dose and route, and watch for side effects.</p><p>Prepare patients, set up equipment, maintain sterility, and assist with basic procedures.</p><p>Assist in performing and managing medical procedures, physical examinations, and treatments.</p><p>Provide patient and family education tailored to specific medical conditions, treatment plans, and recovery goals.</p>
