PRACTICAL NURSE (FAMILY MEDICINE)

<p>About the Position: This position is located within Tripler Army Medical Center in the Directorate of Medicine, Department of Family Medicine in Honolulu, Hawaii. Tripler Army Medical Center is a tobacco-free workplace. Tobacco products include, but are not limited to, smoking, smokeless tobacco, and electronic nicotine delivery devices. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Prepare assigned rooms for scheduled patients.</p><p>Assist the physician with various examinations.</p><p>Educate patients, family regarding self-care procedures and post-care reactions.</p><p>Document patients' chief complaints and other pertinent information in the health record.</p><h3>Education</h3>Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this grade level, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone - no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
