Nurse (Clinical/Emergency Department)

<p>About the Position: This position is located within Tripler Army Medical Center in the Directorate of Medicine, Department of Emergency services in Honolulu, Hawaii. This is an obligated position. An obligated position is one to which an employee has statutory restoration rights or entitlement. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Perform a variety of professional nursing and health services to patients of all ages who present for treatment.</p><p>Identify and interpret serious situations and implement proper emergency measures.</p><p>Participate in continuing education programs to update and maintain skills and knowledge to meet annual requirements.</p><p>Provide guidance and leadership to other professional nurses and paraprofessional personnel.</p><p>Serve as role model to experienced emergency and other nurses as well as those who are not fully trained.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
