Physician (Pediatrics)

<p>About the Position: This position is located at Eisenhower Army Health Center at Fort Gordon, Georgia, Directorate of Medicine-Department of Pediatrics. This is an open continuous announcement. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Provide appropriate examinations, diagnostic and/or treatment services for patients in ages ranging from infant through adolescent, who have pediatric and medical problems characteristic of the pediatric discipline.</p><p>Write progress notes, including history, physical, laboratory data, assessment and plan on individual outpatients.</p><p>Exercise privileges when admitting and performing follow-up to selected patients.</p><p>Participate in quality assurance, quality improvement, peer review, and similar professional medical activities in conjunction with accreditation and other standards required of medical facilities.</p><p>Participate in in-service training and informal training and teaching of military, Department of the Army Civilian and contract nurse clinicians, physician's assistants, nurses, and medical assistants.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
