Physician (Hospitalist)

<p>About the Position: This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies exist and may be filled from this announcement at any of the locations listed. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Perform highly responsible duties in the advanced examination, diagnosis and treatment of inpatients for the Internal Medicine Service.</p><p>Examine and conduct thorough studies of patients presented with medical management problems based on the level of professional ability.</p><p>Evaluate laboratory and clinical findings; differentiating among the various contributory causes and prescribe appropriate treatment.</p><p>Serve as the attending physician and admit and discharges patients to the Medical Wards and Step-Down units.</p><p>Provide administrative and direct supervision of assigned personnel including, but not limited to, students, residents, and advanced practitioners.</p><h3>Education</h3>See Qualifications section for education requirements.
