<p>About the Position: The incumbent of the position will serve as a Physician (Family Practice) within the Army Health Center McDonald, DIR of Medicine, Family Medicine. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation. Recruitment incentives MAY apply. This position will fill 2 vacancies, one at McDonald Army Health Center Fort Eustis and one at the Williamsburg Medical Home Clinic. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Performs in accordance with policies and guidelines established by supervisor.</p><p>Exercises independent judgement with full responsibility for professional diagnosis, treatment, referral, and disposition of patients.</p><p>Examine, diagnose, prevent, and treat medical, surgical, obstetric, gynecological, and orthopedic care.</p><p>Take ownership, responsibility for care of assigned panel of patients.</p><p>Provides first contact, continuous, comprehensive primary care for infants, children, youth, and adults according to current standards of care.</p><p>Coordinates and/or integrates care across all elements of the healthcare system and the patient's community.</p><p>Coordinates and/or integrates care across all elements of the healthcare system and the patient's community.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
