<p>About the Position: This position is located at the Naval Medical Center, San Diego, California. A recruitment or relocation incentive MAY BE authorized for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Salary negotiation MAY BE available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Advanced In Hire (AIH) MAY BE authorized for highly qualified candidates. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Provide comprehensive dermatologic evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for active-duty service members, retirees, and dependents in a high-volume outpatient clinic.</p><p>Evaluate and manages acute dermatologic emergencies such as severe drug reactions, blistering disorders, vasculitis, and complex infections.</p><p>Observe resident clinical encounters, procedures, and inpatient consultations</p><p>Perform dermatologic procedures including biopsies (shave, punch, excisional), cryotherapy, electrodessication and curettage, intralesional injections, phototherapy oversight, and minor surgical excisions.</p><p>Provide dermatology consultation services to inpatient units, emergency departments, and operational units.</p><h3>Education</h3>See Qualifications section for education requirements.
