<p>About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Position in the Orthopedic Surgery Department at the Madigan Army Medical Center in JBLM, WA . A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Exercise independent judgment with full responsibility for professional diagnosis, treatment, referral and disposition of patients.</p><p>Provide comprehensive primary care for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents according to current standards of care.</p><p>Coordinate and/or integrates care across all elements of the healthcare system (e.g., subspecialty care, hospitals, home health agencies, nursing homes).</p><p>Complete required records (both paper and electronic) pertaining to all medical services provided in accordance with specified procedures and regulations.</p><p>Provide consultation to other health care providers as assigned.</p><p>Provide technical oversight of clinical staff.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
