Pharmacist

<p>About the Position: This position is located at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital located at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Pharmacist will rotate between all outpatient pharmacies located at Fort Campbell. Hours will vary between 0745-1715 and rotating on Saturdays. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Review prescriptions set up by pharmacy technicians from volume or prepackaged stores.</p><p>Ensure proper labeling of medications prior to release.</p><p>Counsel patients on course of treatment, likelihood of success, possible adverse consequences, and related matters.</p><p>Perform periodic inspections of drug storage facilities to ensure correct handling and accountability of controlled substances.</p><p>Review the prescription, patient medication profile, and patient record to determine appropriateness, safety and completeness of medication.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
