<p>About the Position: This position is located in the Department of Family Medicine at Evans Army Community Hospital, Fort Carson, Colorado. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Orders appropriate diagnostic tests.</p><p>Provides comprehensive health care for all ages and families.</p><p>Obtains detailed history and physical exam.</p><p>Provides health maintenance and preventive services to individual patients as recommended by accepted guidelines.</p><p>Assists with identification of patient education needs and reviews plan with team members for coordination of educational needs.</p><p>Initiates, implements and supervises treatments plans and education for chronic conditions.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
