Nurse (Clinical)

<p>About the Position: This position is located at Womack Army Medical Center within the Directorate of Medicine, Department of Medicine at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. This position Serves as a Nurse M-F 0730-1630. Performing patient care, administrative duties ensuring effective, efficient, safe, and compliant health care operations. May report directly to and perform duties in one specialty area or multiple specialty areas, or float location, as required. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Perform nursing and administrative management assessments to ensure effective, efficient, safe, and compliant operations.</p><p>Monitor medical equipment, maintaining awareness of the patient’s condition and take appropriate action as needed.</p><p>Interpret and report abnormal diagnostic data and changes in symptoms.</p><p>Identify problems, take corrective action, prepare reports of findings, and identify trends.</p><p>Implement Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) orders and make changes to the nursing care plans as necessary.</p><p>Communicate plan of care to patients and family members, including knowledge of disease processes, treatments, and expected outcomes, providing emotional support as needed.</p><p>Obtain patient history.</p><p>Serve as a registered nurse responsible for the provision of professional nursing care to assigned patients.</p><h3>Education</h3>See Qualifications section for education requirements
