Nurse (Clinical/Ambulatory)

<p>About the Position: This position is located at Keesler Medical Group at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Perform independent, comprehensive telephone and clinical triaging.</p><p>Prepare and administer oral, subcutaneous, intra-muscular and intravenous medications.</p><p>Provide patient education as an integral part of the services offered.</p><p>Communicate with providers regarding determinations and situations, document events appropriately.</p><p>Screen patient charts to assess the medical history and determine health care needs.</p><p>Make psychosocial assessment of patients to identify significant cultural practices, the ability to understand and cooperate, and expectations of care and coping mechanisms.</p><p>Ensure the completion of orders from health care providers.</p><p>Facilitate care coordination through a multidisciplinary approach.</p><h3>Education</h3>See Qualifications section for education requirements.
