<p>About the Position: This position is located at Army Health Clinic, Laboratory Service at Hunter AFB, Georgia. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Perform a wide variety of tests in the areas of Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Diagnostic Immunology, and Phlebotomy in accordance with the regulatory guidelines.</p><p>Set up computerized equipment by selecting and entering the correct patient ID and programs information based on the type of analysis to be performed.</p><p>Prepare specimens and obtains supplies necessary for analysis.</p><p>Evaluate requested procedures to determine the suitability of specimen for analysis, requesting new specimen if determined to be unusable.</p><p>Calibrate equipment using standardized procedures and performs daily standardized quality control.</p><p>Input data and actions in appropriate Quality Control and Quality Assurance logs.</p><p>Perform preventive maintenance functions daily or as required.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
