<p>About the Position: This position is located at the 99th Medical Group at Nellis AFB, NV. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Compile and maintain a comprehensive database utilizing the Automated Central Tumor Registry (ACTUR) of all patients diagnosed and/or treated for cancer.</p><p>Review standard and electronic patient medical records.</p><p>Contact patients, physicians, and other healthcare facilities to update registry follow-up information.</p><p>Assist in a wide range of quality assurance studies in the Tumor Registry.</p><p>Perform and maintain quality assurance of case-finding, abstracting, staging, and coding of data and follow-up procedures.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
