ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Emergency Department Nurse Manager (NM) is a professional registered nurse accountable for the 24/7 operation of the Emergency Department. The NM provides leadership in delivering & improving holistic care through collaborative strategies and clinical and administrative judgment. The incumbent is responsible for implementing evidence-based practice, promoting a Veteran-centered care environment, & aligning operations with the mission and strategic goals of the VA San Diego Healthcare system.
