ABOUT THIS ROLE

<p>About the Position: This position is located at Naval Medical Center with the Directorate of Clinical Support, Radiology Division in San Diego, California. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Perform complex and specialized Diagnostic, Fluoroscopy, Orthopedic, Surgical and Computed Tomography (CT) radiographic procedures at the organization.</p><p>Assist in the development, maintenance, and review of quality improvement (QI) and quality control (QC) programs.</p><p>Perform the full range of diagnostic CT examinations/procedures, including but not limited to neuro, chest, abdominal, chest, pediatric, extremity, body, muscular skeletal.</p><p>Identify required improvements, recommend corrective action, and perform follow-up monitoring to establish whether further action is required.</p><p>Assist the supervisor in developing quality control procedures for new radiologic examinations and the modification of existing procedures.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university. Only degrees from an accredited college or university recognized by the Department of Education are acceptable to meet positive education requirements or to substitute education for experience.
