Job Description:

Schedule: Full Time

Shift: Requires full availability during the following days/hours:

• Tues - Sat, 330pm-12am
• You will only work 40hrs per week, but can be anywhere in this window

Assists the provider in delivering medical care to clinic patients. Manages billing and charge entry processes efficiently. Schedules patient appointments and manages the clinic calendar. Handles prior authorizations for medical procedures and treatments. Oversees patient check-in and check-out procedures. Verifies insurance eligibility and processes related documentation. Answers phones and addresses patient inquiries professionally. Processes medical records and ensures accurate documentation. Acts as an EMR super user, providing support and training to staff. Maintains a high level of customer service in all patient interactions. Ensures compliance with clinic policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.

Education:
• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience:
• 1+ previous experience [Required]
• 5+ of medical practice experience [Required]

Additional Information:
• Junior College/Technical School
• Graduate of MA program

Licenses and Certifications:
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• American Association Medical Assistants (CMA) [Required] OR Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) [Required] OR Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) [Required] OR National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) [Required] OR Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) [Required] OR Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) [Required]

Pay Range:

$18.14 - $29.02
