Supervisory Radiology Technologist (CT)

<p>This position is a Supervisory Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (CT) located at the Cass Lake Service Unit, Cass Lake, Minnesota. This position reports to the Pharmacy Director or Designee. Responsible for the administrative and technical direction of the Medical Imaging Services. Identifies problems in the day-to-day organization or administrative problems, recommends changes and/or resolves the problems. This position reports to the Clinical Services Administrator.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Performs a variety of diagnostic radiology and computer tomography examinations ranging from routine to complex. Responsible for maintaining the computed tomography department for regulatory standards and accreditation purposes. Primary responsible for support of electronic data communication services between the facility information system, the radiology information system and the PACS. Assures the work assignments are carried out. Distributes and balances the workload among employees, assures timely completion of assignments.</p><h3>Requirements</h3>Selectee may be subject to a probationary period U.S. Citizenship is required Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959 This is a designated position covered by Public Law 101-630, requiring contact or control over Indian children. Background Investigation Requirement: This position requires the successful completion of a federal background investigation as a condition of employment.
