Supervisory Pharmacist

<p>About the Position: This position is located at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Supervises Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians in performance of work related to sterile products, prescription filling, and ward and clinic supply.</p><p>Make assignments of work for each shift and assigns personnel to shifts</p><p>Maintains control of leave and attendance of subordinate employees and notifies Timekeeper to insure absences are charged to proper leave status.</p><p>Keeps informed of inpatient pharmacy support requirements and identifies changes in services and operations which must be made to accommodate changing needs.</p><p>Interviews applicants for vacancies and provides recommendations for selection to Chief, Pharmacy Service. Provides orientation to new employees.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
