<p>Provide supervisory duties in clinical and administrative responsibilities. Will set work assignment priorities, assess nursing staff for development, implement regulatory standards for quality patient care services. Responsible for workload assignments and employee performance evaluation, setting priorities in accordance with healthcare regulatory requirements, and initiate staff meetings to convey policy updates and establish employee expectations. Initiate a wide range of administrative duties to evaluate contractor compliance, update nursing care policies, and provide data presentation to facility leadership. REQUIREMENTS This is a competitive vacancy announcement advertised under Direct Hire Authority. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Federal Employees earn annual leave at a rate (4, 6 or 8 hours per pay period) which is based on the number of years they have served as a Federal employee. IHS may offer newly-appointed Federal employees credit for their directly related previous non-federal experience or active duty uniformed military service. This credited service can be used in determining the rate at which they earn annual leave. This position is ineligible for the Bargaining Unit. Recruitment or relocation incentives may be authorized. At least a 6 month service agreement will be required.
