<p>About the Position: This position is located within Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) in the Directorate of Quality Services Dept Honolulu, Hawaii. Tripler Army Medical Center is a tobacco-free workplace. Tobacco products include, but are not limited to, smoking, smokeless tobacco, and electronic nicotine delivery devices. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Direct enterprise clinical quality, patient safety, accreditation, risk management, and performance improvement programs to ensure regulatory compliance, organizational readiness, and improved patient care outcomes.</p><p>Supervise Quality Services personnel by assigning work, setting priorities, evaluating performance, approving leave, addressing employee issues, and ensuring workforce development, productivity, and mission execution.</p><p>Provide direct clinical nursing care to maintain competency, assess patient outcomes, identify care improvement opportunities, and integrate frontline clinical insights into quality and patient safety initiatives.</p><p>Lead hospital-wide performance improvement initiatives for high-risk, high-volume clinical processes; analyze trends, implement corrective actions, and sustain compliance with DHA and accreditation standards.</p><p>Develop, revise, and implement organizational clinical quality policies, procedures, and annual plans; interpret regulatory requirements and ensure alignment with DHA, Joint Commission, and command priorities.</p><p>Advise senior leadership on patient safety risks, quality performance trends, accreditation readiness, and system vulnerabilities; provide strategic recommendations to improve care delivery and organizational performance.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
