Supervisory Nurse (Administrative/Ambulatory)

<p>About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. This position is in the Family Medicine Department at Guthrie Army Health Clinic at Fort Drum, NY. This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies may be filled from this announcement. Applications accepted on an ongoing basis; qualified applicant will be considered as vacancies become available.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Oversee the scope of practice and provision of nursing services within the ambulatory clinic.</p><p>Advise the senior leadership on nursing matters; review, recommends changes, and assist in the development of regulations, procedures, and other matters.</p><p>Serve as a clinic nursing subject matter expert and performs direct patient nursing care as needed.</p><p>Promote and maintain good public relations, both internal and external to the hospital.</p><p>Provide oversight for the day-to-day management of assigned nursing personnel within the health clinic.</p><p>Evaluate work performance of subordinates; give advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both technical and administrative matters.</p><h3>Education</h3>See Qualifications section for education requirements.
