ABOUT THIS ROLE
<p>About the Position: This position is located within David Grant Medical Center, 60th Medical Group, Travis AFB. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Plan the activities of the medical records program (to include paper and electronic media), ensuring that medical records administration complies with legal and regulatory requirements</p><p>Develop goals and objectives that integrate organization and medical records objectives.</p><p>Establish policies and procedures for accomplishment of medical records administration.</p><p>Assign work to subordinate employees based on organization priorities and consideration of difficulty and requirement of assignments.</p><p>Assess policies and procedures as needed to find ways to improve quality, timeliness, and efficiency of work.</p><p>Implement and monitor the records section's quality assurance program.</p><p>Recommend awards for non-supervisory personnel and changes in position classification to higher level managers.</p><p>Discharge security responsibilities by ensuring education and compliance with security directives for employees with access to classified or sensitive material.</p>
