Job Description:
Shift: 7:00pm - 7:00am
• Participates in peer interviewing and review processes.
• Considers factors related to safety, effectiveness, cost, and impact on practice in the delivery of nursing services.
• Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health and unit-specific data for process improvement initiatives.
• Conducts initial patient assessments within expected timeframes, initiates consult as indicated and identifies patient/family teaching and discharge planning needs.
• Maintains safe practices by demonstrating unit-specific clinical competency and compliance with all regulatory standards.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Proficient clinical critical care skills and critical thinking skills with strong communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and commitment to hourly patient rounding.
• Previous EKG Interpretation Class.
• Must possess frequent independent judgment and the ability to handle clinical situations requiring sound professional judgment and critical-thinking skills, including clinical assessment, data analysis, and patient response.
• Responsible for providing quality patient care and continuously prioritizing multiple duties.
Education:
• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Work Experience:
• 1+ years acute care experience [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range:
$33.28 - $61.91
