Job Description:

Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week

Shift:  Dayshift Monday- Friday 8:30am - 5pm.  Some Weekends/Evenings and flexibility to adjust with time zones.
Coverage Area: Denver CO area, Hinsdale IL area, Shawnee Mission KS area, Gordon GA area and also traveling to support our Florida market.

Develops, updates, and recommends policies and procedures for educational training and orientation to staff and volunteers. Ensures compliance with mandated regulations and organizational goals. Monitors and evaluates clinical practice to identify growth needs of clinical staff. Implements and evaluates plans for clinical staff growth and development through continuing education training. Coordinates guest instructors when training focus is outside the educators’ expertise. Identifies problematic systems and process issues and develops plans to improve them. Monitors outcomes of implemented plans. Develops and implements process improvement and clinical best practice initiatives at organizational and department levels. Acts as a change agent, evaluates environment for change readiness, and develops plans for change using research and evidence-based practice. Serves as the educational resource to the management team and participates in assessing procedure, technique, and quality. Tracks and maintains accurate records of courses taken by staff members and reports compliance to licensing authorities. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of current training, education and orientation concepts and ideas, including adult learning and evaluation. [Required]

• Knowledge of curriculum design, performance and resource development. [Required]

• Knowledge of AHCA requirements with regards to education and training. [Required]

• Knowledge of nursing competencies and skills in the performance of duties in compliance with the legal and ethical parameters established and based on the level of education and certification attained by the employee. [Required]

• Knowledge of basic to intermediate application of patient database software. [Required]

• Knowledge of business management and nonprofit management practices. [Required]

• Knowledge of basic to intermediate application of Microsoft Office Suite including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook as well as internet software. [Required]

• Knowledge of basic supervisory/management practices and procedures. [Required]

Education:

• Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]

• Master's of Nursing [Required]

Field of Study:

• in nursing

Work Experience:

• 2+ years in training and development or related field [Required]

• Healthcare experience [Required]

• 1+ years supervisory experience [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range:

$68,132.50 - $119,520.35
