Respiratory Therapist (Polysomnography)

<p>About the Position: This position is located within Tripler Army Medical Center in the Directorate of Medicine, Department of Medicine Cardiac Catheterization Lab services in Honolulu, Hawaii. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Prepare and monitor patients during polysomnographic tests.</p><p>Interpret data obtained from tests to organize and prepare completed patient charts.</p><p>Prepare, calibrate, interface, and operate all equipment used in polysomnographic procedures.</p><p>Participate in continuing in-service education programs.</p><p>Apply electroencephalogram (EEG) electrodes, electro-oculogram (EOG), electromyogram (EHG) and electrocardiogram (ECG) and ensure patient comfort and proper function.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
