If you have an interest in providing care that makes a difference, we encourage you to apply.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>The Surgery Clinic Outpatient Staff Registered Nurse duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and/or supervising direct patient care. Assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care. Administers medications and procedures per established policies and guidelines. Assists in the patient intake process, vitals, rooming, etc. Provides patient education, pre and post procedure. Assists providers during procedures (non-sedation procedures). Reviews patient appointment list identifying past medical history, medications, allergies, and other information necessary to provide safe and excellent care. ACLS will be required after accepting position. Float to various clinics located within the Surgical Specialty Clinic. Could float to multiple areas during the day.
