Registered Nurse - Resource Pool

<p>The Resource Pool Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and/or supervising direct patient care. The Resource Pool Registered Nurse will be required to work on all Community Living Centers and Mental Health Units.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care based on age specific components. Assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care. Administers medications and procedures per established policies and guidelines. Demonstrates leadership in delivering and improving holistic care through collaborative strategies with others for all patient care areas included within Resource Pool/Float assignments. Provides direct and indirect nursing care to patients in multiple care units. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs and specific care of the patients served in the assigned area of practice. Evaluates practice in an ongoing process, based on best evidence. Provides peers with informal constructive feedback for improvement.
