<p>The Registered Nurse (RN) Program Manager (Supervisor) provides leadership for a facility-wide program, overseeing planning, organization, direction, and evaluation of the program and its staff. The role influences care standards and staff safety across the continuum, ensures compliance with National Directives, and leads staff education, orientation, competencies, and quality improvement efforts. The Supervisor collaborates with others to enhance and deliver holistic, high-quality care.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>The Registered Nurse (RN) Program Manager responsible for delivering and supervising all aspects of the nursing process while coordinating patient care focused on education, self-management, and satisfaction across the continuum of care. Ensures adherence to established policies and guidelines, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to influence positive care outcomes, and actively participates in quality improvement and customer service initiatives at the unit or program level. Duties include but not limited to the following: Evaluates practice in an ongoing process, based on best evidence. Provides peers with informal constructive feedback for improvement. Fosters a safe and supportive environment conducive to the professional development of healthcare professionals. Contributes professional nursing perspective in discussions with the interdisciplinary team. Partners with others to effect change and produce optimal outcomes. Shares educational findings, experiences, and ideas with peers. Questions clinical practices for the purpose of providing evidence-based care. Participates in activities and strategies to sustain an evidence-based-practice culture. Evaluates the program, collecting and submitting facility performance measures. Participates in quality improvement activities for nursing and develops performance measures to ensure programmatic outcomes are successful. Ensures the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are understood by the team and integrated into the progam's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and products, and services. Communicates and evaluates assignments, projects, problems to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and timeframes for completion. Demonstrates proficiency in leadership based on sound judgment, critical thinking, and deliberate planning. Leads discussions with facility leaders regarding program goals and requirements to meet the operational needs of the facility and program. Provides strategic advice and recommendations, while collectively collaborating with the program staff to develop solutions to complex issues and reporting actions to leadership. Preferred Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of recent clinical nursing experience. Minimum of three (3) years of nursing education, staff development, faculty, clinical instruction, professional development, or healthcare education experience. Two to three (2-3)years of demonstrated progressive leadership experience in healthcare, nursing education, clinical operations, program management, or quality improvement initiatives. Experience designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for healthcare professionals. Experience leading interdisciplinary teams and collaborating with organizational stakeholders. Experience utilizing data and outcome measures to evaluate program effectiveness and organizational performance. Familiarity with community educational resources in the area. Proficiency in Electronic Health Record systems and clinical workflows. Experience as academic faculty, adjunct faculty, clinical instructor, nurse residency educator, nursing professional development practitioner, or healthcare educator preferred. Experience developing and delivering educational programs in both academic and healthcare settings. Experience mentoring nursing students, new graduate nurses, preceptors, and clinical staff. Experience with curriculum development, competency management, and adult learning principles. Experience with accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and performance improvement initiatives. Experience with simulation-based learning, virtual learning platforms, learning management systems, and educational technology. Experience managing multiple projects, budgets, and organizational priorities. Experience with evidence-based practice, research utilization, scholarly activities, and outcome evaluation. Demonstrated commitment to advancing nursing excellence, patient safety, employee engagement, and continuous quality improvement.
