Job Description:
• Monday through Friday day shift for the program, evening shift once program complete (5 months later)
• Assesses and interprets diagnostic data relative to patient age and condition, including lab results, non-invasive monitoring data, and interdisciplinary team notes.
• Makes appropriate decisions and implements interventions based on nursing diagnoses according to patients' actual or potential health conditions or needs.
• Sets measurable and achievable short and long-range goals for patients, developing and implementing individualized plans of care.
• Prioritizes and completes follow-up assessments, evaluating and modifying plans of care as needed.
• Supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department, exhibiting a desire to learn, teach, mentor, and advance nursing skills.
• Applies knowledge and skills pertaining to all diagnoses, procedures, medications, complications, and equipment associated with unit patient population.
The program has a hard start date on September 6, 2026. No PTO can be taken during the duration of the program because of the inability to make up missed time.
Education:
• Associates of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelors of Nursing [Preferred]
Work Experience:
• Minimum 1 year experience in an inpatient or Emergency Department setting preferred.
Licenses and Certifications:
• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
Pay Range:
$31.53 - $52.24
Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
