Registered Nurse-Nurse Manager (Domiciliary)

The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System is recruiting for a full-time Registered Nurse-Nurse Manager. This position will serve as the Domiciliary Nurse Manager within the Psychiatry Nursing Department under Patient Care Nursing Service.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>The 2-page Resume requirement does not apply to this occupational series. The Domiciliary Nurse Manager duties include but are not limited: Responsible and accountable for the 24/7 operations of the assigned unit and provides coverage for other Nurse Managers as needed. Responsible and accountable for directing and supervising staff orientation, training, development, and the evaluation of individual performance. Function as a clinical expert and is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing or supervising patient care. Act as a role model, educator, and supervisor, providing leadership to the team. Ensure compliance with all accreditation and regulatory standards and align nursing and clinical objectives with organizational strategic goals, actively participating in strategic planning and execution. Influence outcomes through effective collaboration with members of the interdisciplinary team. Maintain current knowledge and ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, directives, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
