<p>This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>This posting is for the Mental Health Treatment Coordinator (MHTC) Registered Nurse (RN). The MHTC RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care based on comprehensive holistic components. This position assumes responsibility for the coordination of care for patients, including triage of and care for patients with emergency medical or psychological issues. Administers medications according to policy. The RN will work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other team members to track treatment plans, facilitate follow up appointments, monitor clinical progress, and support measurement-based care. The coordination will reduce fragmentation and improve Veteran access while aiding in team efficiency and workload to ensure Veterans receive comprehensive, Veteran-centered care. The incumbent is administratively and clinically supervised by a Mental Health Service supervisor and account to the Associate Director of Patient Care Services (ADPCS). This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT and will remain open until December 31, 2026. The initial cut-off date for referral of eligible applications will be July 1, 2026. Eligible applications received after that date will be referred at regular intervals or as additional vacancies occur on an as-needed basis until positions are filled.
