ABOUT THIS ROLE
<p>The Fredericksburg Healthcare Center (HCC) is hiring two Registered Nurse positions for the Medicine Specialty Clinic. Announcement open for the first 25 applications.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Duties include but not limited to; Provides direct patient care in the Medicine Specialty Clinics, including assessment, triage, treatments, and coordination of care. Performs clinical procedures such as EKGs, injections, IV starts, and assists with specialty procedures. Supports specialty clinics including but not limited to cardiology, rheumatology, endocrinology, pulmonology, nephrology, infectious disease, or infusion services, dermatology. Provides patient education on disease processes, and medications. Coordinates care with providers and interdisciplinary team. Reviews and manages consults, labs, and follow-up care. Ensures compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards. Participates in quality improvement initiatives and clinic workflow optimization.
