ABOUT THIS ROLE

<p>The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System is recruiting for a Registered Nurse. The Registered Nurse will function in the Domiciliary program within Mental Health.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Major Duties: - Attends and observes nurse-led psychoeducational groups - Provides oversight of the patient safe medication management program (this refers to the TR House) - Identifies and reports psychiatric and medical care needs and emergencies - Participates in environment of care rounds - Routine coverage for the acute psychiatric unit (CT6) to support facility-wide mental health acuity. - Integration of Urine Drug Screen (UDS) specimen collection and breathalyzer testing into standard clinical practice.
