ABOUT THIS ROLE
<p>The position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) a student loan payment reimbursement program .You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Major Duties (To include but not limited to): The Registered Nurse Community Living Center Register Nurse delivers fundamental knowledge-based care to assigned clients while developing technical skills. The Registered Nurse Community Living Center Register Nurse assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care based on age-specific components. The Registered Nurse Community Living Center Register Nurse assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient education, self-management and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care. The Registered Nurse Community Living Center Register Nurse administers medications and procedures per established policies and guidelines. The Registered Nurse Community Living Center Register Nurse influences care outcome by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team. The Registered Nurse Community Living Center Register Nurse is responsible for and accountable for individual nursing practice and determines the appropriate delegation of tasks consistent with the nurse's obligation to provide optimal care. The Registered Nurse Community Living Center Register Nurse focus is on individual growth and development in practice with increased levels of self-direction. The Registered Nurse Community Living Center Register Nurse formulates a plan of care based on nursing assessments.
