<p>About the Position: Work is performed in a hospital-based ambulatory Family Medicine Clinic with and enrolled population of newborn - geriatric patients. This is an outpatient clinic where exposure to contagious and infectious disease are possible. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Obtain information from patient and/or family to identify major complaints, symptoms, or reason for seeking health care.</p><p>Take vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, pain level, height, weight, measurement of head circumference and length).</p><p>Assist the Credentialed Provider with various examinations and diagnostic procedures.</p><p>Set up and maintain a sterile field</p><p>Report changes in patient behavior.</p><p>Enter data related to the record of patients in computer systems; i.e., electronic medical records.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
