Practical Nurse

<p>About the Position This is a Practical Nurse position, GS-0620-06, located at Army Health Clinic, Fort Detrick, Maryland. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Take vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations, pain level, height, weight, measurement of head circumference, and length).</p><p>Perform mental health screening.</p><p>Document patients' chief complaints and other pertinent information in the health record.</p><p>Provide individualized nursing care to patients based upon the physician's medical care plan, the nursing assessment, and the physical, mental, and emotional needs of the patient.</p><p>Administer oxygen, IV fluid and prescribed oral, rectal, subcutaneous, and administration.</p><h3>Education</h3>See Education Requirements Above
