ABOUT THIS ROLE
<p>About the Position: This position is located at the Womack Army Medical Center, Department of Surgery. The working hours are 0730-1630 but may vary slightly with on call hours during evening and weekends. The clinic provides outpatient treatment and diagnosis for members of the Armed Forces, their beneficiaries, and retirees. The Practical Nurse provides technical and specialized nursing care for all patients. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Obtain major complaints, symptoms, or reason for seeking health care from patient and/or family.</p><p>Document patients' chief complaints in the health record.</p><p>Provide individualized nursing care to patients of all ages.</p><p>Perform routine procedures in accordance with treatment plan.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
