<p>About the Position: This position is a Practical Nurse located at Occupational Health Clinic, Fort Drum, New York. This is an open continuous announcement. We accept applications on an ongoing basis. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Student Loan repayment may be authorized.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Provide pre-and post-medical monitoring.</p><p>Performs independent nursing care functions, including medical surveillance, health screening, counseling, education, and training to prevent disease and health maintenance for the Occupational Health Program (OHP).</p><p>Performs a comprehensive assessment of workers’ medical history, physical appearance, mental/emotional status, hazardous exposures, work duties, and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage</p><p>Conducts work site visits and determines the need for medical surveillance testing.</p><p>Performs a variety of administrative clerical and medical record duties.</p>
